Doubts about buying Mac Mini

In autumn and winter we spent most days with our computers, simply because it's too cold to go outside.
And when you internet a lot, you find a lot of attractive things on the net, for example a Mac Mini.

I'm really thinking about buying a Mac Mini, but I doubt if it is a big winning over Linux.
